Treatments under sedation
Many patients who go to a dentist’s practice suffer from phobia or any other basic pathology which stress may strengthen.
Treating such patients under oral or endovenous sedation may be a soothing method.
The anaesthetist will decide which is the most suitable method for every patient. Complex treatments will be carried out in a hospital operating room and under general anaesthesia before which a previous exam, including blood and thorax X-ray tests, and an electrocardiogram if required, will be carried out.
